I had problems when going from 9.1 to 9.2.  I have a dual head with an 
ati video card that was properly configured by SuSE 9.1, when I 
attempted to install (not upgrade) 9.2 on the same box, it let me 
configure it, but when it booted, it did not work.  I ended up copying 
my 9.1 to the 9.2 partition and all was well.

Do be sure to let Suse know about your problems, that's the only way 
they will get fixed.
