I've booted up the default config as I was getting a kernel panic
otherwise, and /dev/psmouse is the default.

I....
	rmmod psmouse

and
	ln -s /dev/ttyS0 /dev/mouse

but, no mouse, plus gpm is not running nor does a find locate the
program on the machine.

In a nutshell what ALL is required to get a mouse going under Linux, in
general ?

Thank you,
Courtney
