I am having a problem with my dsl connection interface not coming up on
boot. This used to work however something has changed somewhere. Run
pppoeconf to configure pppoe and for interfaces in /etc/network I have.

auto eth1
iface eth1 inet ppp
        provider dsl-provider

I have to manually bring the interface as well as dsl after I boot. This
configuration is straight from the Debian Reference. This is a Debian
Sarge system if that helps. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I am
running the Speedfactory Platinum DSL. The system logs haven't helped at
this point.

Many Thanks,

Jim Seymour
