Ah-ha! You got it. Thanks!

And for future reference, to the person who asked if you can --verbose
in putty, the answer is no with a but..

Use plink, the command line version of putty, (available at the same
place or bundled with the windows installer) and -v instead of
--verbose. (I had no idea this existed until today)
