[no subject]

There's always the likes of:

dd if=/dev/urandom of=/dev/hdc bs=2048

To write random data everywhere..

followed by:

dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/hdc bs=2048

to zero it all out so you don't get screwy partition tables

replacing /dev/hdc with the appropriate device..
