Well, since the post I have been able to boot from my Knoppix disc,
switch to root, and do:
# mdadm --assemble /dev/md0 /dev/hda7 /dev/hdb1
# mount /dev/md0 /home/knoppix/Desktop
I can then see my RAID directory structure, but if I try to actually
move or open a file, it says the file doesn't exist. Am at a loss as to
why this would be happening. I've installed and formatted another 80GB
drive in the machine in order to copy the most important information to.
Knoppix even shows the new drive on the desktop, but even with it, I
can't open the drive in Konqueror or find it via the command line.
Any suggestions?
Ryan
