Depends on your location and ISP.  If you can get bare dsl, no, 
otherwise yes, BellSouth, AT&T or another land line provider.

I doubt it, based on my experience of downloading a bunch of stuff and 
trying to use the phone, I doubt you'd have any luck at all.
