[ale] sendmail and load
- Subject: [ale] sendmail and load

Does anyone know the defaults in sendmail.cf to tell sendmail what to do
during cases of high load?
# load average at which we just queue messages
#O QueueLA=8
# load average at which we refuse connections
#O RefuseLA=12
# load average at which we delay connections; 0 means no limit
#O DelayLA=0
I had a condition where mail was not being sent from 8/10 1400 - 8/11
0400. I did not see anywhere in /var/log/messages that sendmail was
complaining about a too high of load.
