Try to see if there are any programs that take advantage of the IDE
TASKFILE access in the newer kernels to see if you can try to recover it
that way.  It goes below the driver and attempts to do as much as it can
without removing the platters and skewing for information with 3rd party
services.  If that doesn't work... well, probably need something better.
