One final suggestion.  Vonage has a neat policy of giving a referral  "fee" 
in the form of two months free usage.   If you have  a friend who has 
given you a recommendation, have him submit a referral form before you 
sign up, then both of you will get some extra time for free.  It's worth 
about $50 bucks to each.   

And the best part, they give the credit the second month the new user is on 
line.  No hassle, unlike earthlink!
