Danny,

If you do decide to buy a firewall/router you should check out the Linksys 
WRT54GS. Its a wireless B/G router but it also has four 10/100 ports. The 
best part is the operating system is Linux based and open source. There are 
several versions of the O/S available with a wide variety of features and 
in one case you can even roll your own.

The WRT54GS has twice the memory as the WRT54G so if gives you plenty of 
room to play. I recently got one at Best Buy for $79 after a $10 rebate. I 
have seen them on sale for as low as $59 (after rebate).
