i honestly don't know of a "bad" choice for an enclosure. i have used several different ones without any problems, a laptop drive in an enclosure with Knoppix (or Apologetix <shameless plug>) is a wonderful thing.
as far as finding a good one, eBay is your friend. i typically pick them up (new laptop enclosures) for >$20.
