[ale] HOW2 view old archived emails ?

Greetings !

I've archived old emails in a directory other than the current active one.

Netscape 6.2 is the browser.

Viewing former emails is the object, but when I create a new account 
"Archive" under Netscape and set the "server settings" to the old 
directory where the old emails are stored, nothing is available for 
viewing though I've set the permissions to 777.

Any help ?
