Actually the x bit WAS set, that was part of what alarmed me.  My first
impression was that it was delivered by a viral email.  I wasn't so
concerned for myself, but I presumed that since I got the "spam" others
must have too.  After all, we all know that subscribing to ALE is the
source of all our spam. ;)
