[ale] Miguel de Icaza and Mono?

Anyone ever wondered why Miguel would ever devote so much time to Mono? 
  I've always considered doing anything that relies on a Microsoft 
technology to either be foolish, or contain hidden motives.  I don't 
think Miguel is stupid or foolish.  I'm beginning to think he's greedy.
