I'm involved in a client / server Java application where we have the
servers running SUSE (SLES).

But the clients are Windows XP. Unfortunately the XP boxes are
occasionally giving us a "Delayed Write Failure". It is a "closed
network", so I have total control over the client machines (but not
the choice of OS).

I'm not concerned about disk write performance at all, so if this were
Linux on the clients I would just mount the filesystems with the "-o
sync" option thus disabling write caching in the OS.

Does anyone know how to do that in Windows XP. I''ve tried googling,
but without any luck.

Sorry for the off-topic post, but I need help.

Thanks
Greg
