I have been using an Apex Outlook EL-80DT that I bought on eBay for
about $50, including 4 cables. It's several years old but was top of the
line at one time, I believe, and works great. I have used it on Linux,
W98, and W2K w/o any problems. It's an 8-port, but Apex has many 16 port
models.
