I use Nvidia QuadroFX 700 series cards with the Nvidia proprietary drivers for
Linux. Amazingly, Fedora Core 2 configured multi-head display with the click of
a button and an Xwindows restart, while WinXP SP2 is having the hardest time
getting the dual-head display to work. Go figure.
I've had good success with Matrox G550s in both environments, but don't like
their OpenGL acceleration, and since that is one of the primary features I need
to support the research in IBB, it takes priority.
Thanks & HTH
