I still maintain that Slackware+Dropline is the finest desktop Linux setup
the world has ever seen. I have installed it on current as well as 10.0 and
it works well on either. If you want the fancy automounting stuff to work
you'll need to run the 2.6.7 kernel. The stock 2.4 kernel works fine other
than that.
