> If I recall correctly, 2.6 pushed the limit to 2 TB on 32-bit systems.

Also, some programs still have the 2 GB limit in them. Programs that
uses the 32-bit lseek() will have this limit, even if they just want to
set the pointer to the beginning or end of the file. DOI!
