By the way, I used to like to see him on the old TechTV. I miss the way he chewed people up on tech issues.

>> M$ LINUX

>Dvorak missed the ball. M$ has no intention of bringing out a M$-Linux
>offering. Ever. Hell would have ice skaters for a century before it happens.
>
>What the purchase of Vintela does is give M$ another tool to use to squash
>Linux. By shutting down the Linux aspect of the cross platform nature of
>Vintela, Microsoft can further extend their grasp on the business desktop.
>Vintela is a direct threat by offering products and services that can make
>code for one platform work on all platforms. M$ does not see Apple nor Sun
>as any threat at all. So cross-platform development for those platforms is
>very safe and likely a business builder.
