Woah!  That statement will start a war.  Debian TOPS the list at package
management.  Specfically dselect and tasksel top what any other distro
has to offer when it comes to shear quantity of available packages,
package dependencies, and package installation, removal AND purging (a
state that some distros know nothing about).
