SuSE because:

1. rpm, you're familiar with
2. Neither slack or Red Hat has anything to rival Yast2
3.Get SuSE professional and when you upgrade on the next version you
still get the disks and the administrators guide. The 9.2 admin guide
is over 700 pages. I paid twice the price for Red Hat Work station and
I had to download and burn the cds.

I'm running Red Hat WS on my laptop as it's the target for a client.
I've got SuSE on most of my other boxes.
