Sonali,
~    One technique that would not require an extension would be to place
this collection of bookmarks within a subfolder in your Bookmarks
Toolbar Folder.  You can then click on the folder and choose "Open in
Tabs" from the bottom of the drop-down list that appears.  You may have
already used that one, though.
