[ale] OT: grub and boot.ini?

I'm trying to move an existing xp install from hda1 to hda12.  Anyone 
have any suggestions as to the proper entries for grub and boot.ini?

I've got this:

grub:

# the MSFT partition
title   A Microsoft Virus test
         rootnoverify (hd0,11)
         chainloader +1

boot.ini

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(11)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP 
Professional test"

I've got the original still in hda1 and although the box boots, it's 
still in hda1, not hda12 ????
