[ale] Extraction of address and pages

I'm trying to get http://addr:port/page 

from:

GET http://www.google.com/ HTTP/1.1

this sucks as it is too greedy.  Anyone have a suggestion.
$m =~ m/http:\/\/(.+)\/\s+/;
