Don't know for sure. My son has IE and Firebird installed. He normally uses Firebird, and has had fewer problems. He did get hit with a worm a few weeks back. I don't know if he was running IE or Firebird at the time - but suspect IE. (he does not use Outlook Express, so that was not the source)
