We are using it on one of our X servers here where I work.
No problems with it at all. I have 17 users running their X
terminals off of it and it works great

Fedora Core 1  ddid require a little more tweaking to get some of our
older applications that we still use to work, but other than
that it works fine.

Another alternative to RHEL that you might want to look into though is WhiteBox Enterprise Linux
