Well, you can't really "give" someone something that was theirs in the first
place. Now to return to the topic, the people are being sold a bill of goods
by the elections officials. For every one of us shouting the alarm, the goon
squad has another geek who is being paid to contradict us. Georgia Secretary
of State Kathy Cox will be the first to tell you that Avi Rubin's research
was refuted by the State of Maryland...shortly after she finishes launching
an ad hominem attack on him by questioning his credibility. Something about
him owning stock in a company that is a Diebold competitor. Never mind the
fact that it was part of a mutual fund rather than a direct investment...or
so I'm told. She doesn't care to pursue the issue because the general
public, by and large, could care less. I spoke with her last week and it
literally gave me a headache. I could feel my IQ dropping just listening to
her. I wasted my time, and I almost became stupid because of it. It will
take me weeks to recover the intelligence I lost that day.
Now strap on your tinfoil hats boys and girls, it's time for a conspiracy
theory. Kathy Cox is reportedly considering a run at the Governor's seat! I
don't care how innocent the whole thing may be, this situation deserves
closer scrutiny than it is getting. Honestly, I don't think it is going to
get it.
