The 2402w is supported in the 2.6 kernel, since you're running mdk 10 
you should be good.  Go to <a  rel="nofollow" href="http://www.prism54.org";>http://www.prism54.org</a> for the instructions 
on getting it going.  I've got three cards based on the prism54 chipset, 
one with 2.6 kernel, the other two with rebuilt 2.4.

If you have problems with getting it going with the docs on the noted 
website, drop me a line.
