[ale] Booting a Win XP drive with grub without reinstalling?

I don't know if this will help, but here is the XP relevant stuff from 
my laptop grub.conf which has a multiboot RH, SuSE and XP.  XP is 
/dev/hda1 though:

# the MSFT partition
title   A Microsoft Virus
         rootnoverify (hd0,0)
         chainloader +1
