Remember that you are relying on the phone company's wires. The twisted
pair wires the telcos use for the "last mile" to get to your house vary
in quality greatly. Add to that that fact that your phone company has no
real incentive to support DSL and the fact that DSL and phone companies
like to pin the blame on each other when something goes wrong and you
COULD be looking at trouble.
Also, unless you use a company that supports "non-standard" operating
systems, make sure you have that other OS available in case something does
go wrong....
That said, after initial setup, very few people actually have complaints;
most people love it. I love it. lots of people on this list love it.
