Thanks Bob! That was a good article and cleared up a few questions for 
me. Python sounds intriguing, though I'm getting the feeling that 
focusing on both Perl and C++ might be the safest bet for covering my 
bases. Perhaps I should dabble a bit with all of them and see what I 
like best.
