This would also be seen as a leveraging point with M$ virus backlash in the press ("this would not have happened if <company in question> had kept their M$ VirusScan up-to-date")

I doubt they would be able to pull the second one off. It would start
the Anti-Trust, monopoly thing all over again for them. I'm sure Norton
wouldn't stand by and watch that happen.
