would someone mind telling me why an &quot;_&quot; in a server name would cause trouble?  i've not noticed it before, but with some email programs (mozilla thunderbird) it is raising sand about the server name (email_server).  it doesn't do this with a &quot;-&quot; and i was wondering if i was breaking some rule/law/karma.

as it stands there are several servers i am playing with: data_server, email_server, app_server, ogg_server and notice no current problems.

i am allowed to name as i see fit, am i not?
