It was RBL issues that seemed to have caused much of my spamassassin
problems. Suddenly, most of my clients began not receiving expected emails
due to a poisoning of the RBL's. I went through and changed out the RBL's
and still had problems. I had to begin delivering even the high scoring spam
mail which ruined the email process.

Grr. Spammers.

>
> I'm using qmail+tmda. Three day's worth of email yields about 2,000
> messages of which fewer than 50 are non-spam. The combination lets
> through about one spam per 2,000 with about one false positive
> (legitimate email held for confirmation that never gets confirmed).
> The problem is that I still can't ignore the false positives so I end
> up looking at all the !@*&%@ messages anyway.
>
> Email is simply becoming an unreliable method for communicating.
