| About BitTorrent: Can anybody here get to the Slackware torrent?
I started it, and while it didn't time out, the transfer was pretty
slow. You'll probably get better transfer times by ftp or http on one
of the slackware mirror sites. I suspect that for the Slackware ISOs,
Bittorrent primarily sees use in the few weeks after a new release, as
an alternative to the (typically overloaded in the weeks after a
release) ftp/http mirrors. Once the post-release rush is over, I doubt
there are enough people leaving it running to give decent transfer speeds.
