And snickering while I read this thread.

The spam thing is, imho, very much like the nuclear waste issue and 
technically advanced countries that produce it. Nobody wants it, no one has a 
working solution to stop it's production and disposal and everybody is at
each throat regardless of whether they are friend or foe.
