Looking at my phone, blue tooth and even a modem line aren't going to
fly:

(hey, it was cheap and is a pretty good phone)

Thus spake Dow Hurst (dhurst at kennesaw.edu):

> Check aircable.net for serial based bluetooth units. That gives you the
> serial connection over an invisible bluetooth "cable". All you do is setup
> the serial on both ends. Is killer on Zaurus and is perfect for bluetooth
> phones since the units have dual sync builtin. (Two device capable sync)
> So your Zaurus, GPS, and phone are a mini network. Range is 10 meters max.

> >I've got a Garmin IQue3600 with the gps, etc. Sucker is great. The
> >only problem is I have use for a wireless (802.11b) connection but can't
> >seem to find anything compatible. The system uses a SD memory card
> >which I need for holding maps. There is a Serial connnector I can get
> >though if I could find a decent wireless transmitter/receiver that'll
> >connect to serial.
> >
> >Anyone have any suggestions or other ideas?
