Interchange is great, but it's definitely an 8,0000 lbs. gorilla.  Others (haven't tried it) have reported success with OSCommerce (<a  rel="nofollow" href="http://www.oscommerce.org";>http://www.oscommerce.org</a>) as well.  I believe it may be a little bit easier to set up.
