[ale] ipv6 dns requests???

Okay, so I happen to notice that my web pages are taking a while to 
start loading.  So, long story short, I'm looking at ethereal output and 
see my machine making an ipv6 dns request, which, of course fails to my 
ipv4 isp.  Then I see the ipv4 request which works.

So the question is, why is my box doing this (suddenly??)  And more 
important, how do I stop it?  I've checked out all the config stuff I 
can find, but have not located the TURN_OFF_IPV6_DNS_REQUESTS flag anywhere.

Anyone?
