For those interested in computer history, I have to say this is pretty
cool. I especially like that their reason for not keeping these things on
more is that they use too much power:

As someone on another list put it:

"OK, the machines are mainly a historic curiosity, being around fifteen
years old. Still, it's cool to think that you're using a system the size
of a locomotive cab. It's amazing that a bunch of volunteers can scrape up
the resources to run these beasts."
