[ale] quoted characters

i have started using "Outlook QuoteFix" (http://flash.to.oblivion) to help with some of the irritants that using Outlook causes.  mainly in replying.

i had been using the ":" to define a quoted message part instead of a more traditional ">".  that said, how do i tell Mutt/Vim to recognize these ":" as it does these ">"?

given that i am Mutt ignorant (i want to use it, really) how would i fix this on the Mutt side?
