What vi? There are several, the most common vim and nvi.
I've noticed that command line vim works ok by the normal X windows
right click, drag, release, and left click to copy. However gvim
doesn't. The docs seem to indicate it should but it doesn't I'm betting
it is a bug.
Jim.
