it seems to me that at this point in time, most small electronic devices 
should have a small built-in ups/capacitor to cover a power flicker or 
outage < 30 secs or something.  i really want a ups for some of my 
equipment too (especially one of my firewall machines that doesn't have an 
on/off pushbutton but instead has a push once power button), but i'm 
absolutely unwilling to drop $200 on one.  anybody have a more 
cost-effective ups recommendation?  the ones i've seen are just 
outrageous... they're comparible to the outrageous kvm prices i've seen.
