When an Oracle rep (specializing in Linux development) spoke at the ALE-NW
mtg. this month, he mentioned that Oracle was only cert'd to run under
RH8. Some people have reported getting Oracle to work w/RH9, but not w/o
some extra config hacks.
I just installed RH9 on a ThinkPad. It's too early to tell. My sound
couldn't be config'd w/Red Hat's tools, but I was eventually able to
hack it in.
