If anyone out there is looking for a cheap CD-RW drive, I'm pleased to
report a favorable experience from an IDE-based CyberDrive 16x speed:

I bought it two months ago, but just got around to installing it tonight.
I burned the three Red Hat 9.0 ISOs at 16x using GnomeToaster, and all
three CD-Rs passed Red Hat's self-check. I'm now installing RH 9 on a
Pentium II-class ThinkPad, and so far, so good.
When I bought it, Ginstar was selling it for around $30.
