[ale] /proc/net/dev is full

Hi ALE,

  I've "maxed out" the byte counters on eth0 in /proc/dev/net.  They hit 4294967295 and no longer increment.  Anyone see this before?  Anyone know how to reset these values? (other than rebooting)
