[ale] Faking out Windows CD checks?

Have you tried the CD repair dealies?
I have used them with success IF the bottom is scratched, but learned the 
lesson that if the media is scratched (on top) the CD is doomed. (And to 
think I used to lay CDs down on their tops to keep the bottom from getting 
scratched :( )

Another obvious solution is to copy the CD when you first get it (and save 
.isos of the ones that you still have working) so that when a CD gets 
destroyed you can just burn another one.
