[ale] The Ale mailing list archive - a definitive answer?

Can anyone provide some feedback on what's going on with the Ale mailing
list archive?  Have we given up on it?  Anyone working on it?  Why is it
gone?  Can we get a few people together to fix whatever is wrong with it?

I've seen questions go out every so often with no answers back.  Who's the
contact person for this?
